Still Here!

I'll be posting again in July.

It's sad that, as I work on a writing degree, I'm too busy to write things I really want to be writing.

Advice for people considering college: Choose a major which certifies concrete skills like Nursing, Computers, or Accounting. If you think you might be interested in business or writing; buy books on the subject, take free on-line courses, network through local events, use all the time and money which would have been used on college to start a business, invest, or develop your writing.

College has its benefits. On average people with degrees make more than those without though this gap has decreased since the 1970's as the value of a degree decreases. But, generally speaking, college is for people (evidently myself) who aren't brilliant enough or driven enough to succeed otherwise.
