The New Chicago Sears Tower!

When I think of Sears, I think of the Sears Catalog. I remember looking through the phone-book-sized merchandise collection to make visual cut-out Christmas wishlists. I  remember competing with my sisters to see who could claim the coolest thing first as we turned the pages and pointed quickly. Oh the fun you could have before computers!

We snapped this picture along I-90 outside of Chicago on the way to Indiana.

With the building formerly known as the "Sears Tower" being renamed to the Willis Tower, Sears must be looking for a new tower. This abandoned Sears warehouse/store better represents the failing retailer than anything I've seen yet.
